![]() (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))" I've done the exact same thing in Add-in Express but it throws a new error message and crashes Outlook: But this workaround only works on Add-in that is not written with Add-in Express. If I execute the mailItem.HTMLBody call on a worker thread (instead of main GUI thread) the call does not fail! To my understanding OOM uses STA so that call is marshaled from worker thread into main Outlook GUI thread. But if I select and move the image (WordEditor start handling image differently), Outlook will crash.īut fortunately I've found a workaround. I can execute HtmlBody call while typing and no crash occurs. ![]() But if you select the image or handle it (WordEditor component draws resize and rotate dots around the image) Outlook will 100% crash. If there is an image in email it doesn't mean Outlook will crash. It must be a bug with WordEditor component in Outlook. I've done a lot of research on this issue and come up with some conclusions. ![]() ![]() I don't know how could I have overlooked your response. ![]()
